Iran spends more than $300 million annually directly supporting terrorist organizations globally. Despite our government’s best efforts at enforcing sanctions, international businesses and financial institutions continue to enable Iran, and countries like it, to act freely. The consequences of these actions can be deadly – and lead to a reality that is all too close to home for many American families.

Located in Hampton Roads, Virginia, we are surrounded by past and present military families who sacrifice so much for our country. Our clients include civilians, private defense contractors, as well as former military personnel whom were kidnapped, tortured, and killed overseas. Family members of these victims, such as spouses, children, parents, and siblings, also have their own individual claims that can compensate them for the pain of abruptly losing a loved one or the strain caused by an illegal detention.

Congress has passed a variety of laws aimed at providing financial and legal assistance to victims of international terrorism – our goal is to help bring awareness of those laws and to make certain that our clients are taking advantage of every available opportunity. This can include filing suit against Iran, Syria, and Sudan, the countries formally designated as sponsors of terrorism, or against any other entity that has aided, abetted, or conspired with those countries, or the terrorist organizations they support. Once a civil judgement is obtained, we will guide our clients through a variety of collections efforts, including applications to the United States Victims of State Sponsored Terrorism Fund, a pool of resources funded by monies confiscated from international banks and businesses that have been convicted or pled guilty to helping fund global terrorism networks.

It is an honor to serve the individuals and families that have sacrificed so much for our country.
